Are you looking for a massage to help with your disability?
If you or a loved one has a physical or developmental disability, massage therapy could be the answer to improve the quality of life and well-being.
My aim is to provide a positive and healing touch to anyone with a disability.
Massage has been proven to reduce symptoms of tremors, spasticity, rigidity of muscles and uncoordinated movements as well as pain and stiffness of muscles throughout the body that is experienced in conditions such as MS and Parkinson’s.
What to expect...
The first visit is a meet and greet session where we complete a thorough consultation process.
I want to know all about you! Who you are as a person, what life was like before your disability and how it is effecting your life now.
We include the therapy treatment which will be tailored to your pain issues. For example, if you are paralysed and no use of your left side, we would use physical therapy techniques to increase the circulation to the area and release any stiff joints from being in one position.
At the end, we discuss the best course of action and put together a care plan and track your progress. We arrange the follow on sessions at your convenience.
